Supercross Championship
On Saturday, May 3, Bridgestone-shod Chad Reed, riding a San Manuel Band of
Mission Indians Yamaha, took the win in the main event at Sam Boyd stadium in
Las Vegas – clinching the 2008 AMA/FIM World Supercross Championship in the
process.

Rossi takes maiden Bridgestone win in
China, Stoner Scores Podium
Fiat Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi took a triumphant victory at the Shanghai
International Circuit in China this afternoon to secure his first ever MotoGP
victory using Bridgestone tyres. The Italian was embroiled in a race-long
battle with Honda’s Dani Pedrosa, but a string of record-breaking lap times in
the closing laps ensured a well earned first win of the season, 3.8 seconds
clear of Pedrosa.

Power Sports Factory Andretti/Benelli Motorbikes
Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) and Power Sports Factory,
Inc. (PSF) have announced that a range of Bridgestone brand motorcycle and
motorbike tires will be available on the entire line of Power Sports Factory’s
Andretti/Benelli premium motorbikes by the end of 2008.

Stewart Takes First, But Not Without A
Fight
Round 11 of the Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Series held at the Citrus Bowl in
Orlando, Florida was a memorable event for the 42,000-plus racing fans in
attendance. They watched as Ricky Carmichael fought James Stewart for victory
in his last Supercross race, ending his beyond-incredible Supercross career.
