Bridgestone and Chad Reed Clitch First Supercross Race
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 5, 2004) -- Chad Reed was in top form Saturday, January 3rd, despite an earlier shoulder injury, as he raced to victory on his Yamaha YZ 250. Reed dominated the 20-lap main event and was followed by Yamaha team members David Vuillemin and Tim Ferry, giving Bridgestone and Yamaha a clean sweep of the podium.

Bridgestone Motorcycle Product Manager, Bob Graham, said in response to the win, "This was an exciting win. Despite the time Reed took off to recuperate, he showed that he was more than prepared to face this challenge. We're particularly delighted that all the Factory Yamaha riders will compete exclusively on Bridgestone tires again for the 2004 season. While this is only round one of 16, we know this will be another stellar year for both Reed and Bridgestone."
