Bridgestone Riders Dominate Phoenix Supercross
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 13, 2004) -- Last Saturday night in front of 46,000 fans, Bridgestone riders swept the podium of both the 125 and 250 Supercross classes at Bank One Ball Park in Phoenix. Ivan Tedesco of Pro Circuit / Kawasaki took his second victory in the 125 class. With him on the podium was teammate, Stephane Roncada, and FactoryConnection/Honda rider,Travis Preston.

The 250 class saw Kevin Windham, Factory Connection / Honda, lead virtually from start to finish, followed by last week's winner, Yamaha rider, Chad Reed. Third place was another Factory Connection rider, Mike LaRocco.

"Conditions were very slippery, and the results say much about the performance of Bridgestone motocross tires," said Bob Graham, manager of Bridgestone/Firestone Motorcycle and Kart programs. "I'm certainly pleased to see our teams do so well. Following last week's victories, 2004 is starting out very well."
