Bridgestone Riding Crest of Wins in 250 class AMA Supercross Series
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 24, 2004) -- The numbers speak for themselves. This year is Bridgestone's banner year in the AMA Supercross 250cc class with the top four points leaders all riding exclusively on Bridgestone tires. Through the first eight events of the 2004 Supercross season, every podium finish has been claimed by a rider equipped with Bridgestone tires.

As of today, midway in the season, Chad Reed (Factory Yamaha) is the points leader with 191 points to his credit followed by Kevin Windham (Factory Connection/Honda) at 168 points, David Vuillemin (Factory Yamaha) at 152 points and Mike LaRocco (Factory Connection/Honda) at 147 points; all riding on Bridgestone tires.

Bridgestone is very close to claiming another championship season in the 250 AMA Supercross competition, which would make Bridgestone the winner of six AMA 250 Supercross titles in eight years (Jeff Emig, 1997; Jeremy McGrath, 1998-1999-2000; Ricky Carmichael, 2001)
