Bridgestone Grabs The Spotlight At Daytona
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 8, 2004) -- Last Friday, Bridgestone-shod riders swept the podium at the prestigious Daytona Supercross held at the historic Daytona International Speedway. 1st place - Chad Reed (Yamaha) 2nd place - Kevin Windham (Factory Connection / Honda) and 3rd place-Mike LaRocco (Factory Connection / Honda). For the 10th straight race this season, Bridgestone-shod riders again filled the podium. In the 125 class, James "Bubba" Stewart, with his first appearance at the Daytona International Speedway, put on a winning performance on board his Bridgestone-shod Kawasaki, leading the pack throughout the entire race. This was his fourth 125 class victory of the year.

Also at bikeweek, the 2nd round of the AMA Grand National Cross Country series was in Palatka, Florida, Barry Hawk took the victory on a Bridgestone-shod Yamaha and team-mate Jason Raines was 3rd overall.

In the Daytona Dirt Rider's Alligator Enduro, a Bridgestone 1-2 finish. Jason Raines (Yamaha) took 1st place and Randy Hawkins (Yamaha) took 2nd place. Hawk and Raines are both on the Randy Hawkins / Am-Pro Race team.
