Bridgestone-Equipped James “Bubba” Stewart Leads AMA/Chevrolet 125 Motocross Series
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 14, 2004) -- Right out of the chute, James "Bubba" Stewart, #259, has racked up three impressive wins on his Bridgestone-equipped Kawasaki KX125 in the race for points in this year's 125cc AMA/Chevrolet Motocross Championship series. The 2004 AMA 125cc Eastern Region Supercross Champion has had great success winning the first three rounds at Sacramento, Mt. Morris and most recently at the renowned "Sands of Southwick" in Southwick, Mass.

Leading the standings with maximum possible 150 points after last Sunday's event, Stewart finished round three with a 34 point lead in the 2004 championship.

"Stewart and his Kawasaki are in top form," said Bob Graham, Motorcycle and Kart Product Manager for Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire, LLC. "The Southwick track brings out some of the best sand riding in the world. The Bridgestone tires handled the track perfectly, and it's exciting Stewart with an impressive start to the season and are looking forward to more of the same."
