Bridgestone Riders Sweep Motocross Round Three

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 10, 2008) - The third round of the AMA Motocross series in Wortham, Texas, saw a repeat of dominance from riders on Bridgestone brand tires, where Bridgestone-shod riders again made a clean sweep of all four motos in AMA national competition.

James Stewart, riding a Bridgestone-shod Kawasaki, took wins in both AMA Motocross motos. Stewart now has a perfect score of 150 points from the first three events, and a 36 point lead in the championship.

In AMA Motocross Lites, Ryan Villopoto, riding a Bridgestone-shod Pro-Circuit Kawasaki, also took wins in both motos. He now has a total of 141 points, giving him a 15 point lead in the championship.

In motocross national competition, Bridgestone is the exclusive tire supplier to the factory Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha teams, plus the Pro-Circuit Kawasaki team.
